Double Up was a game show similar to the American comedy quizzer, You Bet Your Life.
Gameplay
In each episode, three pairs of contestants spend a little time with host Hart. Then they responded to quiz questions during the game. Each team started with $50 and on each question they bet in increments of $10 how much they want to go for. One of the pairs who finished the show with the most money had an opportunity to double their cash prize towards the end of the show.
