Fighting Words was a panel game similar to the American show Who Said That?

Four celebrity guests competed to identify people who wrote or said a given quotation, afterwhich they had to discuss the quotes subject. Each episode had three rounds of quotations on a variety of topics, which usually had cartoons to illustrate them.
By 1959, viewers who submitted quotations that were presented on the show would receive a book and to LP records, and an encyclopedia as a bonus for stumping the panel.
